Jamie Lissette
Founder and Managing Principal

The founder of StreetChat is Jamie Lissette, a 15 year trading veteran. He has been moderating the HammerForum for over 6 years. Jamie has traded over a billion shares in the past 15 years. His personal strategy is based on momentum with an emphasis on sentiment and investor psychology.

Jamie also founded and presently moderators the Hammerstone Institutional Trader Forum. In 2001, Jamie created The Hammerstone Group as a family office that makes investments in hedge funds and private equity situations. In 2002, divisions were created to develop and design sophisticated trading applications. Additionally, Hammerstone offers highly specialized consulting services within the hedge fund community. It was out of this growth that the Hammerstone Institutional Forum was created to offer financial community based applications for our clients.

Previously, Jamie was Head Trader with Elmwood Capital in New York City, a long/short equity hedge fund, whom he joined in 2001. Prior to Elmwood, Jamie worked as an independent trader for his own company and with RLW Trading. Jamie began his career in 1994 as options trader for Rockrimmon Securities on the floor of the American Stock Exchange.
